1. Who we are
Ideal-M is a creative operating system for marketers and ad creators. The service is operated as a personal software project. For privacy inquiries, see the contact email at the bottom of this page.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, authentication is handled by Clerk. We receive and store profile data synced to our database, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Clerk user identifier.
Workspace and creative data
When you use the product, we store data you create or upload, including organizations, projects, creative assets (images, videos, copy), export records, job status, and Pulse analytics settings. This data is stored in our PostgreSQL database and, when configured, in object storage (e.g. S3-compatible storage) for media files.
Connected platform data
If you choose to connect third-party accounts, we may store OAuth tokens and related metadata needed to provide those features:
- Meta / Facebook — ad account access, campaign insights, and Ad Library queries when you connect Facebook in Settings.
- TikTok — optional Display API or Commercial Content API access when configured.
You can disconnect these integrations at any time from Settings inside the app.
AI processing
When you use AI-powered features (copy generation, ad analysis, video pipelines, etc.), your prompts, uploaded creatives, and related context may be sent to third-party AI providers configured for the deployment (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or KIE.ai). Those providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
Usage and technical data
We collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and request logs through our hosting provider and application infrastructure. Clerk session cookies are used to keep you signed in.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Ideal-M platform
- Authenticate you and secure your account
- Store and display your creative assets and campaign data
- Run AI features you request
- Sync connected ad platform data for Pulse and related tools
- Respond to support requests and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we process personal data based on: performance of our service contract with you, your consent (for optional integrations), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share data only as needed to operate the service:
- Clerk — authentication and account management
- Hosting & database providers — application and data storage
- AI providers — when you use AI features
- Meta, TikTok, and other APIs — when you connect those platforms
- Object storage — for uploaded or generated media, when enabled
6. Data retention
We retain your account and workspace data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove associated data from our systems as described in our Data Deletion Policy. Backup copies may persist for a limited period as part of routine hosting backups.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, authenticated API access, and server-side secret management. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable available account security features in Clerk.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, see our Data Deletion Policy or contact us using the email below.
9. Children
Ideal-M is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Ideal-M, you acknowledge such transfers may occur.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
